August 31, 2023: Mondamin, IA 51557 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the West Harrison Hawkeyes (Mondamin, IA) and the visiting Whiting Warriors (Whiting, IA), saw West Harrison's volleyball squad beat Whiting by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, West Harrison upgrades its record to 2-2 on the year. The Hawkeyes travel to Ar-We-Va (Westside, IA) to play the Rockets in a Rolling Valley bout on Thursday, September 7. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 0-2.
The Warriors now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Boys Town for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. Whiting will play a Cowboys squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Omaha Christian Academy (Omaha, NE). The Cowboys record now stands at 0-6.
