Texas High School Football - Live Oak Classical tops Covenant Christian
August 31, 2024: Waco, TX 76706 The Live Oak Classical Falcons football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting Covenant Christian Cougars to 6 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Falcons now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trinity Christian for a non-league test on Friday, September 6. Live Oak Classical will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 34-12 non-league loss to Sacred Heart (Muenster, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Covenant Christian drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Harmony School of Innovation (Sugar Land, TX) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 0-1. Harmony School of Innovation lost 63-6 in their recent non-league test against KIPP Houston (Houston, TX)
