August 31, 2024: Landisville, PA 17538 The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Hempfield Black Knights (Landisville, PA) and the visiting William Penn Bearcats (York, PA), witnessed Hempfield's football squad knock off William Penn by a tally of 30-6.
The Black Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against J.P. McCaskey (Lancaster, PA). The Red Tornado enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, J.P. McCaskey gained a win over Manheim Central (Manheim, PA), 36-6, in a non-league contest.
