Ohio High School Soccer - Tri-Valley toppled by Athens
August 31, 2024: The Plains, OH 45780 Athens Bulldogs (The Plains, OH) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Tri-Valley Scotties (Dresden, OH), 6-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Athens moves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Fairfield Union (Lancaster, OH) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 3-2. Fairfield Union won 5-2 in their recent league test against Logan Elm (Circleville, OH)
The Scotties now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sheridan for a Muskingum Valley test on Tuesday, September 3. Tri-Valley will clash with a Generals team coming off a 6-0 league win over New Lexington (New Lexington, OH). The Generals record now stands at 1-4.
