Ohio High School Soccer - Defiance toppled by Lake
August 31, 2024: Defiance, OH 43512 Lake Flyers (Millbury, OH) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Defiance Bulldogs (Defiance, OH), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Lake moves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Flyers travel to Eastwood (Pemberville, OH) to meet the Eagles in a Northern Buckeye test on Wednesday, September 4. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-4. Eastwood lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Clay (Oregon, OH)
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Otsego for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. Defiance will meet a Knights team coming off a 12-0 league loss to Maumee (Maumee, OH). The Knights record now stands at 0-3.
