August 31, 2024: Eugene, OR 97404 North Eugene Highlanders (Eugene, OR) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Gresham Gophers (Gresham, OR), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, North Eugene moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Marist (Eugene, OR) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 0-1. Marist lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Churchill (Eugene, OR)
The Gophers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 4.
