August 31, 2024: Peoria, IL 61614 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Peoria Notre Dame Irish (Peoria, IL) and the visiting Morton Potters (Morton, IL), saw Peoria Notre Dame's soccer squad triumph over Morton by a count of 6-0.
The Irish (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against De Smet Jesuit (St. Louis, MO). The Spartans enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record.
With the loss, Morton moves to 0-2 on the year. The Potters host Canton (Canton, IL) to encounter the Little Giants in a Mid-Illini challenge on Tuesday, September 3. The Little Giants go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Canton lost 6-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Roanoke-Benson/Eureka (Eureka, IL)
