The Kermit Yellow Jackets volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Big Spring Steers to 1 in the Yellow Jackets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Yellow Jackets now have a 2-16 record. They play next when they travel to Klondike for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 31. Kermit will play a Cougars team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Brownfield (Brownfield, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 9-10.
