With the win, Estacado improves its record to 6-14 on the season. The Matadors travel to Lamesa (Lamesa, TX) to encounter the Tornadoes in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 31. The Tornadoes go into the battle with a record of 3-7.
The Longhorns now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grandfalls-Royalty for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 3.
