In Saturday's non-league match, the Ryan Raiders (Denton, TX) volleyball squad tipped the host Garland Owls (Garland, TX), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Raiders confront the Hutto Hippos (Hutto, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 31. Ryan will attempt to move on its 9-16 season record. The Hippos enter the match with a 9-11 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX).
