Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Heritage Patriots (Monroeville, IN) and the host Huntington North Vikings (Huntington, IN), observed Heritage's volleyball team top Huntington North by a tally of 2-0.

The Patriots (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bellmont (Decatur, IN). The Braves enter the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Bellmont beat Zionsville (Zionsville, IN), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Vikings meet the Adams Central Flying Jets (Monroe, IN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 3. Huntington North will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Flying Jets enter the contest with a 6-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Wapahani (Selma, IN).
