In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Walsenburg Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Lotus School For Excellence Meteors.

The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sangre de Cristo (Mosca, CO). The Thunderbirds enter the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Sangre de Cristo was beaten by Hoehne (Hoehne, CO), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
