In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Lutheran-Northeast Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines.

The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cedar Catholic (Hartington, NE). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Cedar Catholic beat Randolph (Randolph, NE), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines meet the Heartland Huskies (Henderson, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Wilber-Clatonia will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Anselmo-Merna (Merna, NE).
