In Saturday's non-league match, the Madison Central Indians (Richmond, KY) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds (Newport, KY), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Indians battle the Model Patriots (Richmond, KY) in a District 44 match, on Tuesday, September 3. Madison Central will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Danville (Danville, KY).
