Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL) and the host Windermere Wolverines (Windermere, FL), observed Merritt Island's volleyball team hold off Windermere by a count of 2-1.

The Mustangs (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Edgewood (Merritt Island, FL). The Red Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Edgewood was tipped by Bayside (Palm Bay, FL), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Wolverines battle the Horizon Hawks (Winter Garden, FL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 3. Windermere will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Hawks enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to West Orange (Winter Garden, FL).
