Texas High School Volleyball - Rudder over Taft

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Rudder Rangers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Taft Raiders.

The Rangers (22-9) will now prepare for their challenge against MacArthur (San Antonio, TX). The Brahmas come into the non-league challenge with a 8-9 record. In their last challenge, MacArthur lost by Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Raiders meet the Holmes Huskies (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 29 challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 2-16 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (San Juan, TX).
