August 31, 2024: Hilo, HI 96720 Saint Joseph Jesters (Lakewood, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Waiakea Warriors (Hilo, HI), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Saint Joseph improves its record to 9-7 on the season. The Jesters travel to Liberty (Bakersfield, CA) to face the Patriots in a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 3-2. Liberty lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA)
The Warriors now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christian Liberty Academy for a Big Island I test on Wednesday, September 4. Waiakea will face a Canefire squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Kamehameha Hawai'i (Kea'au, HI). The Canefire record now stands at 0-3.
