August 31, 2024: San Mateo, CA 94401 Westmont Warriors (Campbell, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Westmont improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA) to face the Cougars in a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 1-4. Half Moon Bay won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Gunn (Palo Alto, CA)
The Bearcats now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sacred Heart Prep for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. San Mateo will face a Gators squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA). The Gators record now stands at 0-1.
