August 7, 2023: Perryton, TX 79070 The Perryton Rangers volleyball team (Perryton, TX), went down 3-1 in Monday's non-league challenge with the visiting Dalhart Wolves (Dalhart, TX)
The Wolves (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Friona (Friona, TX). The Chieftans enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Friona went down by Liberty (Lubbock, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Match Summary
This match was a back-and-forth affair with Dalhart coming out on top 3 sets to 1. Perryton started out quick in the first set, but Dalhart began to chip away a little at a time and eventually caught up and surpassed the Rangerettes. Both teams came out swinging in the second set and went back and forth at each other with Perryton ending up on top 26-24. Perryton then proceeded to dig themselves quite a hole in the third set, yet battled back to tie it late. Dalhart then took over and came away with the third set victory. Both teams then again went at it in the fourth and final set, with Dalhart coming out on top with a win.
