With the win, Walnut Grove upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 10. The Wolverines go into the outing with a record of 0-1.
The Spartans now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lanier Christian Academy for a GAPPS DI-AAA Region 2 outing on Thursday, August 10. Scholars Guild Academy will play a Lightning squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over East Hall (Gainesville, GA). The Lightning record now stands at 7-0.
