Georgia High School Softball - Valdosta gets by Valwood
August 7, 2025: Valdosta, GA 31602 In Thursday's non-league match, the host Valdosta Wildcats softball team scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Valwood Valiants.
The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Tiftarea Academy (Chula, GA). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Tiftarea Academy tipped Crisp Academy (Cordele, GA), 2-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Valiants battle the Baconton Charter Blazers (Baconton, GA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, August 12. Valwood will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Blazers go into the match with a 1-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Worth County (Sylvester, GA).
