In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Lanier Longhorns volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Duluth Wildcats.

The Longhorns (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA). The Bears go into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.

The Wildcats now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archer for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 14.
