Utah High School Soccer - Bear River nudges Morgan
August 8, 2023: Garland, UT 84312 Bear River Bears (Garland, UT) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Morgan Trojans (Morgan, UT), 2-1 in a non-league test.
The Bears now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Ben Lomond for a non-league test on Thursday, August 10. Bear River will encounter a Scots squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Hillcrest (Midvale, UT). The Scots record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Morgan drops to 1-2 on the season. The Trojans host Rowland Hall (Salt Lake City, UT) to encounter the Winged Lions in a non-league test on Thursday, August 10. The Winged Lions come into the test with a record of 1-0. Rowland Hall won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Summit Academy (Bluffdale, UT)
