The Golden Lions now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Taylor County for a non-league test on Saturday, August 12. Garrard County will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Nelson County (Bardstown, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Casey County drops to 0-1 on the season. The Rebels host Somerset (Somerset, KY) to meet the Briar Jumpers in a District 47 test on Thursday, August 10. The Briar Jumpers come into the test with a record of 0-1. Somerset lost 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Boyle County (Danville, KY)
