Georgia High School Softball - Dutchtown bounces Morrow
August 8, 2023: Hampton, GA 30228 Dutchtown Bulldogs (Hampton, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Morrow Mustangs (Morrow, GA), 18-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Salem for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 10. Dutchtown will battle a Seminoles squad coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Rockdale County (Conyers, GA). The Seminoles record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Morrow falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA) to battle the Tigers in a 6A Region 3 challenge on Thursday, August 17. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
