Georgia High School Softball - Dade County bounces Dalton
August 8, 2025: Trenton, GA 30752 In Friday's non-league match, the host Dade County Wolverines softball team scored a tight 4-0 win over the Dalton Catamounts.
The Wolverines (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Trion (Trion, GA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Trion was routed by Gilmer (Ellijay, GA), 6-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Catamounts battle the North Murray Mountaineers (Chatsworth, GA) in a non-league match, on Monday, August 11. Dalton will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Mountaineers come into the match with a 1-3 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Armuchee (Rome, GA).
