Kentucky High School Soccer - Dixie Heights knocks off Lexington Christian
August 9, 2022: Lexington, KY 40503 Dixie Heights Colonels (Edgewood, KY) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Lexington Christian Eagles (Lexington, KY), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Colonels face the Scott Eagles (Covington, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 12. Dixie Heights will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY).
The Eagles now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Christian Academy-Louisville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 13. Lexington Christian will face a Centurions team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY). The Centurions record now stands at 0-1.
