Kentucky High School Soccer - Marshall County knocks off Trigg County
August 9, 2024: Benton, KY 42025 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) and the visiting Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY), saw Marshall County's soccer squad triumph over Trigg County by a count of 9-1.
The Marshals (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY). The Maroons enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Madisonville-North Hopkins ran past Calloway County (Murray, KY), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Caldwell County Tigers (Princeton, KY) in a non-league battle, on Monday, August 12. Trigg County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Apollo (Owensboro, KY).
