In Saturday's non-league match, the Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA) volleyball squad tipped the host Northside Patriots (Columbus, GA), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Hawks battle the Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, August 12. Hillgrove will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Greyhounds enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Walton (Marietta, GA).

The Patriots (0-5) will now prepare for their match against Newnan (Newnan, GA). The Cougars enter the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Newnan held off Oak Mountain Academy (Carrollton, GA), 2-0, in a non-league match.
