The Portage Central Mustangs football team (Portage, MI), was ripped 42-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Forest Hills Central Rangers (Grand Rapids, MI)

The Rangers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Byron Center (Byron Center, MI). The Bulldogs come into the Ottawa-Kent - White challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Byron Center was ripped by Grandville (Grandville, MI), 45-27, in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lakeview for a Southwestern Michigan challenge on Saturday, September 10.
