The Loudoun County Captains thwarted the visiting Millbrook Pioneers football team by a count of 34-14 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Loudoun County upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Captains host Broad Run (Ashburn, VA) to encounter the Spartans in a Dulles outing on Friday, September 9. The Spartans go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Broad Run won 42-19 in their recent league outing against Dominion (Sterling, VA)

With the loss, Millbrook moves to 0-2 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA) to encounter the Blue Streaks in a non-league outing on Friday, September 9.
