St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans (Edison, NJ) fans left the game content Thursday as they saw their football team rout the host New Providence Pioneers (New Providence, NJ), 49-14 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, St. Thomas Aquinas improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ) to confront the Raiders in a non-league test on Friday, September 9. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 1-1. Scotch Plains-Fanwood lost 34-24 in their recent non-league test against Colonia (Colonia, NJ)

With the loss, New Providence drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Abraham Clark (Roselle, NJ) to confront the Rams in a Big Central - 2B test on Wednesday, September 7.
