September 1, 2022: Charlotte, NC 28270 The Cuthbertson Cavaliers football team (Waxhaw, NC), was knocked off 21-7 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Charlotte Christian Knights (Charlotte, NC)
The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Topsail knocked off Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC), 40-19, in a non-league challenge.
The Cavaliers now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Mecklenburg for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 8. Cuthbertson will meet a Sabres team coming off a 28-6 non-league win over East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Sabres record now stands at 2-1.
