September 1, 2022: Hays, NC 28635 The East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC) football defeated the host North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC), 32-6 in Thursday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Cardinals face the Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 8. East Wilkes will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record.
The Vikings (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Alleghany (Sparta, NC). The Trojans enter the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Alleghany defeated Surry Central (Dobson, NC), 17-6, in a non-league bout.
