Ohio High School Soccer - Galion knocks off St. Peter's
September 1, 2022: Galion, OH 44833 Galion Tigers (Galion, OH) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team overwhelm the visiting St. Peter's Spartans (Mansfield, OH), 12-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers face the Clear Fork Colts (Bellville, OH) in a Mid-Ohio challenge, on Wednesday, September 7. Galion will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Colts enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Mansfield Christian (Mansfield, OH).
The Spartans now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mansfield Senior for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 8. St. Peter's will meet a Tygers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to New Philadelphia (New Philadelphia, OH). The Tygers record now stands at 2-3.
