September 1, 2022: Virginia Beach, VA 23455 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Landstown Eagles (Virginia Beach, VA) and the host Bayside Marlins (Virginia Beach, VA), saw Landstown's volleyball squad nip Bayside by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, Landstown upgrades its record to 2-2 on the year. The Eagles host Salem (Virginia Beach, VA) to play the Sundevils in a Beach bout on Tuesday, September 13. The Sundevils go into the bout with a record of 0-1.
The Marlins now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host First Colonial for a Beach bout on Thursday, September 8. Bayside will play a Patriots squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Charles J. Colgan (Manassas, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 6-2.
