September 1, 2022: Fairburn, GA 30213 Creekside Seminoles (Fairburn, GA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting South Atlanta Hornets (Atlanta, GA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Seminoles battle the Jackson Jaguars (Atlanta, GA) in a 5A Area 5 match, on Tuesday, September 6. Creekside will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Jaguars come into the match with a 13-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Alexander (Douglasville, GA).
With the loss, South Atlanta drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Columbia (Decatur, GA) to battle the Eagles in a 2A Area 5 match on Tuesday, September 6. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 3-6. Columbia lost 2-0 in their recent league match against Elite Scholars Academy (Jonesboro, GA)
