September 1, 2023: Aspermont, TX 79502 The Southland Eagles (Southland, TX) football overcame the host Aspermont Hornets (Aspermont, TX), 44-16 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Christ the King Cathedral Golden Lions (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 8. Southland will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Golden Lions enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 52-6 non-league win over Cotton Center (Cotton Center, TX).
The Hornets (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Moran (Moran, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Moran was toppled by Baird (Baird, TX), 54-6, in a non-league bout.
