The Big Spring Bulldogs (Newville, PA) football overcame the visiting Shippensburg Greyhounds (Shippensburg, PA), 21-7 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Newport Buffaloes (Newport, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 8. Big Spring will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Buffaloes enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 41-7 non-league loss to West Perry (Elliottsburg, PA).

The Greyhounds (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Spring Grove (Spring Grove, PA). The Rockets enter the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Spring Grove was toppled by Kennard-Dale (Fawn Grove, PA), 28-21, in a non-league bout.
