The Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) football routed the host St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD), 40-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Riverdale Baptist Crusaders (Upper Marlboro, MD) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 9. Bishop McNamara will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Crusaders enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 56-17 non-league win over Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA).

The Knights (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD). The Gaels enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Mount St. Joseph walloped Dunbar (Washington, DC), 16-12, in a non-league bout.
