The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Fairfield Falcons (Goshen, IN) and the visiting Central Noble Cougars (Albion, IN), observed Fairfield's football squad defeat Central Noble by a count of 35-6.

The Falcons now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Culver Academies for a non-league contest on Friday, September 8. Fairfield will play a Eagles squad coming off a 26-22 non-league win over North Judson-San Pierre (North Judson, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Cougars play the Prairie Heights Panthers (LaGrange, IN) in a Northeast Corner - Small contest, on Friday, September 8. Central Noble will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 69-14 non-league loss to Lakeland (LaGrange, IN).
