In Friday's non-league game, the Columbus Cardinals (Columbus, TX) football team smashed the host La Grange Leopards (La Grange, TX), by a score of 63-28.

The Cardinals (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX). The Raiders come into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Rice Consolidated overwhelmed Kashmere (Houston, TX), 31-14, in a non-league game.
