September 1, 2023: North East, MD 21901 The North East Indians football team (North East, MD), was ripped 38-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Easton Warriors (Easton, MD)
The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wicomico (Salisbury, MD). The Indians come into the Bayside 3A/2A challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Wicomico was ripped by Linganore (Frederick, MD), 40-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Perryville for a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Susquehanna challenge on Friday, September 8. North East will meet a Panthers team coming off a 31-14 non-league loss to North Harford (Pylesville, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.
