California High School Football - Rio Hondo Prep prevails El Monte

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Rio Hondo Prep Kares (Arcadia, CA) and the host El Monte Lions (El Monte, CA), observed Rio Hondo Prep's football squad defeat El Monte by a count of 45-15.

The Kares now own a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Marquez for a non-league contest on Friday, September 8. Rio Hondo Prep will play a Gladiators squad coming off a 24-14 non-league win over Arleta (Arleta, CA). The Gladiators record now stands at 2-1.

The Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their match against South Hills (West Covina, CA). The Huskies enter the non-league match with a 1-2 record.
