The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Evangelical Christian Sentinels (Fort Myers, FL) and the visiting Island Coast Gators (Cape Coral, FL), observed Evangelical Christian's football squad thwart Island Coast by a count of 21-0.

The Sentinels now own a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Cardinal Mooney for a non-league contest on Friday, September 8. Evangelical Christian will play a Cougars squad coming off a 41-6 non-league win over Lakewood Ranch (Bradenton, FL). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.
