The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH) and the visiting Fostoria Redmen (Fostoria, OH), observed Hopewell-Loudon's football squad bounce Fostoria by a tally of 48-12.

The Chieftains now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Gibsonburg for a Sandusky Bay - River contest on Friday, September 8. Hopewell-Loudon will play a Golden Bears squad coming off a 42-6 non-league loss to Edison (Milan, OH). The Golden Bears record now stands at 1-2.

Coming up next, the Redmen play the Rossford Bulldogs (Rossford, OH) in a Northern Buckeye contest, on Saturday, September 2. Fostoria will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 32-6 non-league loss to Evergreen (Metamora, OH).
