The Omaha Central Eagles football team (Omaha, NE), was beaten 48-28 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE)

The Dragons (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Creighton Prep (Omaha, NE). The Junior Jays come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Creighton Prep achieved victory over Millard North (Omaha, NE), 24-19, in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln High for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 8. Omaha Central will meet a Links team coming off a 35-0 non-league win over Omaha Northwest (Omaha, NE). The Links record now stands at 1-1.
