The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Methodist Children's Home Bulldogs (Waco, TX) and the host Penelope Wolverines (Penelope, TX), observed Methodist Children's Home's football squad defeat Penelope by a count of 50-38.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Sterling Classical for a TCAF District 1 (6 Man) contest on Friday, September 8.

Coming up next, the Wolverines encounter the Forestburg Longhorns (Forestburg, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 8. Penelope will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
