North Carolina High School Football - Polk County crushed by West Henderson

September 1, 2023: Hendersonville, NC 28791

In Friday's non-league game, the West Henderson Falcons (Hendersonville, NC) football team smashed the visiting Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC), by a score of 48-6.

The Falcons (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Erwin (Asheville, NC). The Warriors come into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Erwin was ripped by Brevard (Brevard, NC), 34-14, in a non-league game.

The Wolverines now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Landrum for a non-league game on Friday, September 8. Polk County will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 34-6 non-league loss to St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-1.
