California High School Football - Sierra gets by Yosemite

September 1, 2023: Tollhouse, CA 93667

The Sierra Chieftains football squad scored 20 points and restricted the visiting Yosemite Badgers to 14 in the Chieftains non-league victory on Friday.

The Chieftains now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boron for a non-league battle on Friday, September 8. Sierra will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 45-6 non-league win over Riverside Prep (Oro Grande, CA). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-0.

Coming up next, the Badgers play the Liberty Hawks (Madera, CA) in a Northwest Sequoia battle, on Friday, September 8. Yosemite will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Hawks enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 29-22 non-league loss to Dos Palos (Dos Palos, CA).
